Early mornings and winter temperatures are generally stashed away in my 'nope' corner. There are only two remedies I've discovered(so far) which induce my prompt and successful attention to this particular corner:
1) Monkeys and baboons making an unpaid shopping visit to my vegetable garden, and,
2) Photo sessions.
Option 2 is quite obviously my favourite and makes the Nope Corner seem like the silliest thing ever!
As I'm sure you've guessed by now, the session I am about to feature was early morning stuff, and the temperatures were right out of the South African's Great Big Guide To Winter.
Nevertheless, through the windchill and threatening rain clouds, Kate was such an amazing subject and happily trekked with me all over the countryside to find delicious spots to photograph!
Winter, bring it on.

breath-takingly beautiful (both the subject and the photography)! Fancy finding mushrooms the exact colour of Kate's jersey!
