During the month of March, I had the most wonderful privilege of photographing my brother's wedding, and oh! What a lovely day it was. The weather was rather chilly, but cheerful bunting and delightful baskets packed with a delicious spread of home-made goodness (as well as friends and family all around) more than made up for the spots of rain and mist. Congratulations Chris and Hannah, you two made a gorgeous couple!

Summer's Haze

I can't truly say that it is anywhere near summer here at the coast in South Africa, largely to the fact that it is winter.. Nevertheless I have to say, we have been treated to a fair few warm and balmy days lately, and here are some photographs to prove it. What bliss.

Barefoot In The Garden {young Joshua}
Beverley M. Photography
A while ago (before winter truly made its appearance), a colony of flying ants left the safety of their underground home and took to the sky in large numbers. Standing there amidst these remarkable little creatures and the soft whirring sound they made as they practiced their brand new and clumsy wings, was a young boy I know called Joshua. I couldn't help but take some pictures as he helped a few take a rather speedy flight into the air.
