I must say that I really do enjoy opportunities where I get to shoot in locations other than the usual that I am surrounded with here in the Garden Route. Here we have rough wind-shaped coastal Fynbos, Pine logging forests and the odd assortment of wild grass and runaway weeds.. incredibly beautiful in its own wild kind of right, but quite the contrast to the majestic trees and beautiful clipped edges found in some city parks..
Yes yes, we do have beaches- but the sand, oh, the sand. I have this fear about the magnetic attraction sand has to camera equipment and so I don't find myself shooting there very often. I should. Chicken.
This shoot was taken in Cape Town at Arderne Gardens(majestic trees, what what) with Jessica who was so wonderfully patient with me as I totally wanted to take photos everywhere and there just really wasn't enough time to cover the entire garden. :)
So here, lovely people, is Jess: a stunning person I am so glad to have had the opportunity to photograph, with a beautiful smile and a really awesome taste in shoes. Enjoy!
